Do the dye with Dylon!

This pink-ish ad is from NZ Womans Weekly 1976, it's one of the more recent retro magazines I've acquired but I thought it was well worth posting.
  • I'm find the colour of the ad is really annoying.
  • I have no idea who the couple are featured - maybe there were celebrities back then.
  • This product is still around even now looking much the same.
  • Although I'm finding negatives with this ad I really am loving the 1970's feel about it.
Very retro!
What do you think?

I really like the dress! The polka dots and the cute are cute.

Not big on the color myself, but I do dig this ad. Hope you had a good weekend. Cheers!

He looks like one of the older Osmond brothers. Yecch.

My first thought was that he was an Osmond brother look-alike, too! And I really do hate the color of the ad. The font in the circle on top is so 70's, though!

The Osmonds? hmm you guys could be correct on that line...I know that back in the 70's their fashions sense was widely copied here in NZ so it could be a celebrity couple from here? who knows?

Super cool and groovy! Love it!

I agree, that colour is oddly harsh on the eyes. The funky 70s font helps to make up for that though :)

Have a beautiful week, honey!
